Bell inequality violations with particle and wave measurements
Alejo Salles (Niels Bohr Institute).
Obtaining a violation of a Bell inequality with continuous variable systems is highly desirable in view of the detection loophole present in experiments performed with light. I will describe the problem together with some earlier proposals, and finally introduce a recent scheme which, combining particle and wave type measurements, could ultimately lead to a loophole free Bell test.
PLACE: Mathematics Faculty, room 222.
